John’s career: He commenced his training in one of Melbourne’s Elite inner suburbs Salon (Armadale) in 1978 was when he commenced his training as an Apprentice for there to complete his Training then moved on for a future of his own. He has worked for many other amazing people and learnt lots along the way. He has put in a fantastic effort to get abundance of knowledge, in every aspect of the Hair and Beauty World. He has National and International Experience and now he is here to give you his amazing Look to suit your needs……. From Cutting to Colouring amongst many other services. He likes to keep up a high standard of Service.

John Established his first salon in 1984, then established Hair by John in 1988 in Ladies and Men’s Hairdressing and facial care, many don’t know this but he actually started in the beauty industry by applying the best face cream for wrinkles on the forehead on ladies and gentlemen at the time, of course the industry of beauty has since evolved a lot, every year there are new products and more technology, however this was a starting point for this beauty, facial and hair care salon. Over that time he employed lots of amazing talented hairdressers to work together with him in his Artistic group. We were Nomination from WELLA for Excellence award in 1989, in Recognition of the outstanding level of service provided.

In 1996 HAIR BY JOHN was awarded for the most outstanding small hair and beauty salon award, and the most outstanding small business of Knox Region.

Hair by John was also award as a finalist by the community of Knox City in 1998.
